Flash Factory Attorney Greg Garber: Sexual Assault Plaintiffs “Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves”

Two weeks ago, I jointly sued NYC nightclub Flash Factory for molesting myself and a female friend as a part of their standard security practice, which apparently involves open-hand grabbing of the genitals of male attendees and reaching under the bra to feel the breasts beneath for female attendees.  Their response to our complaint, filed in New York County Supreme Court, is due next week.

I got my first contact from Flash Factory’s attorney today, New York attorney Greg Garber, who asked me to call him.

Greg Garber, Esq., apparently thinks that sex assault victims who file civil complaints should feel ashamed.

After we connected, he told me I “should be ashamed of myself” for filing the lawsuit and that they’d file a reply shortly.  I asked him point-blank if I should be ashamed of complaining of security molesting their patrons and making my friend cry as a result of being shocked and violated by their unprecedentedly invasive security search, and he replied yes.  His only purpose of the call, apparently, was to tell me off.  He also refused to identify the legal name of the security firm.

Greg, 40 years ago called, and they want their victim blaming back.  Here in 2017, no victim of a sexual assault should feel that they are at fault if they report it.  You, sir, are a part of the problem, and it is you, sir, who should be ashamed of himself.

  1. This is why I don’t fly. Anyone who touches my junk, except for a female I am in a relationship with, will very quickly have his/her junk introduced in a violent and painful way to my knee. If they are lucky, that will be the end of it. If they want to challenge that, then they will be introduced to more parts of my anatomy, violently and with serious intent. BTW, I fight dirty. I used to weigh 70 to 80 lbs and had to deal with bullies. I don’t fight to win them over, I fight to win, whatever it takes. Fighting dirty works for me.

Outside a person that is lawfully arrested and being taken to jail, NO citizen should have to deal with this, either by Govt folks or private security folks. Call me simple but it is what it is. The law can stuff it.

  2. What makes you think Garber is the club lawyer? He is a plaintiff’s lawyer according to his website.

    1. Three negative comments in 20 minutes on a thread that’s 3 weeks old. Interesting that 2 of you have the same IP address and the third is using a VPN service and says he’s a lawyer but yet the name he uses isn’t actually an attorney at the law firm his e-mail pretends to be a part of.

You guys are really showing your true colors.

    1. Question. Can you prove in court that this is true? Posting that in a public forum such as this without being able to prove it could open you up for a nice lawsuit. Funny thing is, you post that about a person who has been a thorn in the side of Govt with legal actions for a good long while and is about to be a lawyer if I recall correctly.

        1. Well, to go say something that bad about a person who is more than able to sue them into oblivion is not smart for sure. To add in that you can see their IP, email and such, that just makes it easier on you. A couple subpoenas and the toast starts to brown up nicely. I would compare it to walking up to hit a cop while he is aiming a gun at you. Basically, it ain’t bright. If they disagree, say so. To say something like that tho is beyond reasonable and certainly not smart.

  3. Jonathan,

Being a civil rights advocate is a very noble undertaking. I commend all those who have participated and enacted social change over the course of history.

I have read your compliant – in a sensitive area of the United States a security firm was hired and screened each patron for weaponry and illicit drugs – to comply with legislation and ensure safety of all patrons. You seeking $50,000 per party as damages – as well as reimbursement for pro se attorneys costs.

I question the veracity of your stated role as a civil rights advocate, – which is further supported by your choice of web domain name.

As a practicing legal professional for the past quarter century – I have been exposed to a great deal of frivolous lawsuits. This seems to fit the mold.

I find this level of abuse of the legal system appalling. You really should be ashamed of yourself.
